International Black Belt Federation - IBBF is the organization of Kwan Jang Nim, Master Instructors, Black Belts, and students who come from the roots of Grand Master Moo Young Yun. The IBBF Schools are in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Alaska, Florida and Washington. This is one of the largest Tae Kwon Do organizations in the country. We are a very close-knit group of people, all working for the betterment of Tae Kwon Do as shown by our Grand Master Instructor, Moo Yong Yun.

The Lee's Tae Kwon Do Association - Ultimate Kicks Tae Kwon Do is a branch school of the Lee's Tae Kwon Do Association of Marshall, MN. Lee's Tae Kwon Do came to the Marshall area in 1986. It has since expanded to include more than 25 gyms and hundreds of students from dozens of communities.

THE ULTIMATE KICKS TAE KWON DO FAMILY TREE

The organizational roots begin in Korea with our Great Grand Master Soon Bae Kim, 10th degree Black Belt,
President of the Chang Moo Kwan, Vice President of the Korean Tae Kwon Do Association, and chief forms instructor at the Kukkiwon
(WTF headquarters) in Seoul, Korea. Great Grand Master Kim's student is Grand Master Moo Yong Yun, 10th degree Black Belt, Founder
of the International Black Belt Federation (IBBF), and the person responsible for starting some of the first Tae Kwon Do schools
in the Midwest in the 1970's. He currently lives in Fargo, North Dakota. Grand Master Michael Lee is Grand Master Yun's student.
Grand Master Lee is a 7th degree Black Belt, grand master instructor, certified examiner, and founder of the Lee's Tae Kwon Do program
headquartered in Marshall, Minnesota. Masters Jason and Twyla Meyer are both 4th degree Black Belts and students of Grand Master Lee.
Ultimate Kicks Tae Kwon Do is a part of the Lee's Tae Kwon Do Association family. We, in the Lee's Tae Kwon Do Association, are very
lucky to have such close ties with such a high ranking Korean Master.

ABOUT GRAND MASTER MICHAEL LEE
|

Grand Master Michael Lee is a certified 7th Degree Black Belt through the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and
the Chang Moo Kwan, 4th degree in Hapkido, and 4th degree in Kum Do (The Art of the Sword). He is also a certified examiner for the
World Tae Kwon Do Federation, which means all color belt ranks tested by him have a certified ranking that is recognized by the WTF.
All Black Belt certification comes directly from the Kukkiwon, the official WTF Headquarters in Seoul, Korea. WTF certification is
recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). In addition to his martial arts credentials, Grand Master Lee is a certified
elementary school teacher with the State of Minnesota and began his teaching career at area schools before devoting himself to Tae Kwon
Do instruction full time. He is also an instructor at Southwest State University in the Department of Wellness and Human Performance.
He is certified as an instructor for public safety office training.

ABOUT MASTERS JASON & TWYLA MEYER
|

Masters Jason and Twyla Meyer are a husband and wife Master Instructor team and are both certified
4th degree Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do. Masters Meyer oversee all five Ultimate Kicks Schools in the State of South Dakota.
They are certified examiners for the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. Master Jason has a 3rd degree Black Belt in Hapkido and a
3rd degree in Kum Do, the Korean Art of the Sword. Master Twyla also has a 2nd degree Black Belt in Hapkido. Both are students
of Grand Master Michael Lee.
In addition to their passion for the Martial Arts, Masters Meyer are certified self-defense instructors. Master Jason has been
certified in the Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) police training course. He has also done work as a Bodyguard/Executive
Protection Agent. Master Twyla has a college degree in Excercise Science and is a Personal Trainer.

ABOUT MS. AMANDA MITZEL
|

Ms. Amanda Mitzel is a World Tae Kwon Do certified 3rd Degree Black Belt and certified self defense instructor.
She has many years of experience training in and teaching Tae Kwon Do. Ultimate Kicks opened it’s doors in 1997 and has
been going strong ever since. Ms. Amanda joined the Ultimate Kicks Family in 1998 and has been fortunate to train under
two sets of instructors, Master Wayne & Ms. Marlys Honeman and Masters Jason & Twyla Meyer, who have been wonderful mentors.
She became the owner and head instructor of Ultimate Kicks Tae Kwon Do in 2009. She is currently a student of Masters Meyer
under Grand Master Michael Lee and part of the Lee’s Tae Kwon Do “family” of schools.
Ms. Amanda has a wealth of experience working with people of all ages and walks of life and enjoys every minute of it!
In addition to her passion for Tae Kwon Do and working with students of all ages to set and achieve goals in and out of the gym
she also has a M.A. in Counseling.
